I've had my pellet stove 12 years now,,all that time, only one auger motor, and one blower motor needed to be changed. normal care is needed and it will take care of you. Once you learn the do,s and donts,its runs great,,i use a little stove shovel to empty pot ,twice a day, and a ash vac to clean,,along with yearly major cleaning, put a surge protector on unit to protect stove during storms, also runs well on generator power, on the control unit, it was preset to 6 across the board, way to hot for me, I run at 4 on lower button, and 1 on blower and feed most of the time, during extreme cold went up to 4 on bottom and 3 on blower and feed, never had to go higher,, i added pipe heat exchangers and a heat powered fan on top of unit, the greatly improved stove to run on lower settings,,i usually go thru 3 tons on pellets each year, big savings on gas and oil, my home is 903 square feet with a add on room 12x12..it handles all with flying colors, runs quiet also..i think this will run for many years,,that's why American made pays off. !!!
The stove is ok. Probably not the best
Seem to use a-lot of pellets. But the stove works just fine to heat my small home.
