Overall works awesome now
Stove soots up after six hours of use , very inconvenient .
This stove has many great features. It provided wonderful heat that is more than sufficient for our home. The HUGE pellet bind is more than large enough to store almost a full weeks need for pellets. As there are with every product, there are a few things that could be better.
1. There is no thermostat shut off. It will turn down, but does not shut down/start up based on temperature.
2. You can not hook a external thermostat to it.
3. The front glass is smoked over and you can not see the flame in less than a day.
POSITIVES:
1. GREAT heat. We keep it on 1 or 2 out of 6.
2. Huge bind. I love not refilling pellets every day.
3. The price can't be beat.
4. Solid. Large and heavy. It is quite sturdy.
5. It lights FAST.
All in all it gets 4/5 stars. Not the best stove ever - but so far it has more pluses than minuses.
Bigger than anticipated, but that's a good thing. It started right up and within an hour, had us sweating. Easy installation and quicker than tracked delivery. Very happy
