My condition is one I can not walk to far, I still have full mobility and strength. I bought this to travel with. Tip. Always check in at the gate, they need to tag it. Drive uo to the plane, take the battery out, fold it and leave it, take the battery put under seat. When you get off the plane it us waiting for you. I boarded buses and subways, a couple times I had to stand, lift front over gap, and throttle forward, tgen reach and lift rear. Thier is a handle so it was easy, people often helped. Most of the times I could drive on/ off. Some narly sidewalks it still moved on. You feel ever crack, it was hard on my back, I leaned forward to lesson the pain. Or if I went very slow. The scooter did very well, it is better suited to smooth floors, like going to a convention or expo indoors, but it will go in any direction you point it. I never got below 3/4 battery,driving about 3-4 miles, 2_4 hours
If you are invalid I do not recommend outdoor driving unless very good pathways. As far as quality, only had a few months, so not long enough experience yet. I did beat on it and nothing broke, so a good start..
Armrests would give the rider more stability.
Perhaps armrests would need to be attached/detached after the folding process.
Delivery was great, timely and they followed up to be sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend.
Arm rests are too difficult for someone with a disability to manage

The optional adjustable armrests that I ordered for my new EV Rider Transport Plus folding scooter are a comfort-adding addition to the scooter. They are easily adjusted and are just as easily folded down to the side when desired. One small objection that I have had is that I ordered them for the comfort but also for having the option of adding a pocket to the side for additional storage. The armrests are not wide enough for these additions (at least the ones I have found to purchase). Also, as I have had the scooter for only a very short time, I have not used the armrests for any purposes that make the addition necessary or even nice to have. Although I currently leave them folded down all the time, I anticipate enjoying them when I go on trips (I bought the scooter for use when enjoying mobility at times when extended walking is required....I do not require it for experiences requiring ordinary walking, such as shopping or going to the mailbox. I bought it in anticipation of being a tourist in New York City or Washington, DC where extensive walking is required.) Currently I am riding the scooter only for fun around the neighborhood and frequent entrancing and exiting it are easier without the armrests. Or I have left the left side armrest folded down and the right one up in order to expedite the more frequent moving. In short, the armrests are sturdy and work properly but I find that, in my current fairly normal physical condition, I do not really need them. However, I find comfort in knowing that they will be available should my physical condition deteriorate. I am 75 years old and loving my new scooter!
I ordered this EV rider for my mom. I test drove it and I love it. I ordered the arms and the agent added it for me but it does not come with arms so someone called me back right away to let me know arms does not come with the chair. That was OK but the agent should have known that when he added it to my order. The chair is light as advertised and I love that I can pick it up with no problem, Only one small problem is that on uneven surfaces like in my work parking garage the ramp is alittle uneven and the chair tilted when I had to put my foot down to keep from tipping over. If my mom was riding that may be a red flag for someone older (75 to 80's) to navigate. Over all though I would give it 5 stars and I love the color I got blue but it looks more of greenish blue but still beautiful. The main thing is that is did come really quick and I several friends that are looking for one in the future and I will deffinatly let them know where I got it from.
