The 3000 Watt EF3000iSEB weighs 149.9 pounds and starts with ease with its electric starter. Designed to be acoustically sound, this extremely quiet generator (53-60 dBA) features Smart Throttle which allows greater fuel efficiency and noise reduction. - Yamaha Boost Technology® (YBT) ‐ Boosts output by adding battery voltage to alternator output when needed. The Boost Control Unit (BCU) senses when extra power is needed and boosts output for up to 10 seconds, giving air conditioners, power tools, and other equipment the extra boost of power they may need to start quickly and efficiently.

Received the generator fast and undamaged. We're in the mountains of Idaho right now using our generator every day. It runs great and is very quiet.
Went back and forth between the Honda and this; opted for the Yamaha and it was a good decision. This is very quiet, very smooth and the extra 500 watts of boost is unique and separates the two. Not a fan of the CO sensor, but was able to easily bypass it. The electric start is wonderful, and of course the generator started right up on the first attempt. Very heavy, but I bought this for home back-up, so the weight is not an issue, except to indicate fantastic build quality. Easy to run the carb dry with the petcock, and draining the carb is also easy. Changing the oil is mess-free, due to the drain hole in the bottom of the pan...very pleased with that. The MZ175 engine is built every bit as well as the GX200, so don't let anyone tell you different. Long story short, this is an excellent, Japanese-built generator.
