Customer Reviews
Works great.No problem.So far!
Took out the box, added oil and gas and cranked right up.
I have not had a chance to use this for intended purpose yet. I plan on using as a supplement for my solar system in my RV. I have used it for probably 45 mins. with a 50% load and then without a load. A couple reflections so far. 1. It does not start as easily as I thought, I may have to pull starter up to 4 or 5 times. 2. No load it has a decible reading of 72 db. Thought it might be less. Under a 50% load it has a 82 db reading. But then when I check just the environment it registers 48 to 50 db. so I guess that is not too bad to just have a 22 to 30 db increase. I have never had a generator before. Maybe as the generator gets broke in better it will start easier and be a little quieter. I can carry eaily so I think it will work fine for my intened purpose and will fit nicely in my pick up. Shipping was fast and arrived fine.
It’s my second Westinghouse have a large whole house they both are great machines
I was in need of another generator that would supply enough power for the coffee pot, but would need cost me a fortune to run a fan all night, and was under $1,000. The Westinghouse 2550 met and exceeds all my expectations. It's quiet, efficient, and easy to carry around...and it's around $500! Get one- you won't be disappointed.
Great little generator. Enough power to run things I need when we have an outage. Looks good and easy starting.
