Works well but using 2-4 together is needed for good results

I have 1 so far and do like it for my smallers plants in vege state . Using just 1 at max light is about equal to my Pu 2000 on lowest level and with the sale price I got was only 20 dollars more so I think this unit is way over priced . ! light is good for seedling , clones and the first few weekks of vege , yet in no way will it forfill a full vege state and flowering to finish for the best results .the Spider Farmer SF4000 would cost less then four Sf 1000 and save lots of time conecting more sf-1000's

Are these canned reviews from seller / manufacturer?

On the surface, this appears to be a decent design for a low end LED light. But I seriously question how all 18 reviewers can provide stellar 5 star ratings when several never received their light? Several more simply stated they haven't used it yet but "it looks good"; and several more contained only identical canned one line short descriptions of the product with absolutely no real product review info. So how can this product be listed as the #1 product for LED grow lights?
PEOPLE - reviews should be submitted based upon knowledge of performance of the product. When you purchase a product, you have an obligation to other purchasers to provide honest & meaningful reviews of the product. You DON'T belong to a 5 star review club just because you bought it, and you DON'T have a responsibility to the seller. Be fair to the buyer AND the seller. Those of us looking at reviews should be able to get helpful info before purchasing a product. When I find reviews like this, I suspect they are fake and I'm probably going to take my business elsewhere.
In all fairness to the product, the advertised features tell a good story for a low end 100 watt LED grow light. Samsung diodes & Meanwell drivers are industry standard, quality products. The form factor of approx. 10" X 11.5" is small enough for multiple units to be installed inside a small to medium sized tent. The "heavy" aluminum heat sink concept is a good design that's going to help keep the electronics cooler (but it's not going to help keep the interior of the tent cool). Multiple lights can be daisy chained so that dimming can be done from one master unit; that's a good feature.
What I don't like: Unless you're happy with loose, foxtail buds you need to use around 50 watts per sq. ft. of plant canopy. You're NOT going to get the claimed 4 sq.ft. flowering footprint from a 100 watt grow light, and it's NOT going to be 2X more efficient than an old school HID light. There are some efficiencies, and heat control will be easier, but it's not 2X better. And heat control would be GREATLY improved if the unit were manufactured in a manner that allows the power supply driver to be installed OUTSIDE the tent, with only the LED's inside. But that's going to be a more powerful, higher level product that sells for much more than this unit.
I'm not against this product. Based upon what I have heard from beginning to lightly experienced growers who have purchased Spider Farmer products, you will probably be satisfied. Just don't "buy the hype". The biggest mistake I see inexperienced growers make is to under-buy their first system. When performance flounders, they become disgusted & give up. I want to see MORE growers, not less. If you need a small grow setup, get two of these & a 4 to 5 sq.ft. grow tent that's at least 60+ inches tall, preferably more. Or upgrade your purchase to a +-300 watt system with remote power driver capability, in a 5 to 8 sq.ft. tent. Avoid the long term more expensive cost of starting over, and get it closer to right the first time! Spend a bit more now, save a lot more later, and grow some quality product!!! You'll thank me one day!
