The Shop Fox M1099 is a benchtop metal lathe built for precision turning, threading, and general machining in small shops, garages, and serious hobby workspaces. With a 1 HP motor, 10-inch class swing, and 26 inches between centers, it delivers the capability of a larger machine in a space-saving format.
This six-speed lathe offers spindle speeds from 150 to 2400 RPM, a gearbox for quick thread changes, and a hardened, ground bed for accurate cuts and smooth operation. Its 5-inch self-centering 3-jaw chuck, 6-1/2-inch independent 4-jaw chuck, quick-change style tool holding, and 25mm spindle bore make it well suited for both routine turning and more detailed threading work.
Designed for machinists who need versatility and repeatable results, it also includes useful shop essentials such as a faceplate, steady rest, follow rest, and change gears.
