The cameras and images were a good quality, but the batteries died fast. I contacted Lorex and the CS Rep's advice was to make sure the cameras were pointed to a spot with minimal activity for the batteries to last longer since they are motion activated. I had one pointing under my carport, but, according to their advice, because some of the road was in the frame the camera picked up on the motion causing the battery to drain. I had another in my kitchen; this one lasted about a day longer but because I have animals, it did not last longer than two days. I was planning on pointing one at my shed, but since there is a tree next to it, considering their advice, I would have to point it directly at the door which would leave the side windows in the blind.
I am sure the cameras would be good for some, but not good for an area with activity unless you plan to rotate the batteries every two to three days.
On a positive note, FactoryPure's customer service responded quickly, helped me contact Lorex, and expedited the return process since Lorex could/would not help. The downside is that Lorex's customer service was very difficult to understand and not very helpful.
