Product Overview
The Grizzly T27429 5-inch plate shear is a bench-mounted cutting tool made for quick, clean rough cuts in flat stock and round stock. It handles ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as some plastics, making it a practical choice for small fabrication, repair, and shop work.
This shear uses ground and hardened blades, an extra-long handle for increased leverage, and a spring-assisted hold-down to help keep material secure during cutting. It can cut material up to 4-1/2 inches in length, with capacity for 16-gauge stock at full length, up to 1/4 inch thick on narrower pieces, and round stock up to 3/8 inch in diameter.
