The Grizzly H7789 Mortising Attachment Kit converts a compatible drill press into a mortising machine for cutting clean, accurate mortises in wood. It is designed for woodworkers who want to create traditional mortise-and-tenon joints without adding a separate dedicated machine.
This kit includes 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" chisels, along with interchangeable bushings to fit a wide range of drill press quill sizes. A cast-iron chisel holder and fence, hold-down assembly, and quill alignment pin help support precise, repeatable results during setup and use.
