Product Overview
The Grizzly G9744Z2 is a horizontal metal-cutting bandsaw built for accurate, efficient cutting of steel, pipe, bar stock, and other metal materials. Powered by a 1-1/2 HP motor, it offers a 10-inch round capacity and up to 10 x 18-inch rectangular capacity at 90 degrees, making it a strong fit for fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and serious home or farm workshops.
This saw is designed to handle both straight cuts and miter work, with an adjustable vise for angles from 90 to 45 degrees and positive stops for fast setup. A quick-release vise, adjustable hydraulic downfeed, blade tension indicator, and four blade speeds help you match cutting performance to the material and job at hand.
A heavy-duty steel base, hardened worm gearbox, and ball-bearing-supported blade wheels add durability for regular use. The built-in coolant system helps reduce heat during cutting, supporting smoother operation on longer or more demanding metalworking tasks.
