Product Overview
The Grizzly G0947 is an 8-inch benchtop jointer designed to deliver floor-model capacity in a compact, portable size. It straightens and flattens board edges and faces for woodworking projects while taking up far less shop space, making it a practical fit for garages, small shops, and mobile setups.
A 1-1/2 HP motor drives the 6-row spiral-type cutterhead at 12,000 RPM for smooth cutting performance across stock up to 8 inches wide. The spiral insert design helps produce cleaner results with quieter operation and less upkeep than traditional straight-knife cutterheads, while also creating finer chips for improved dust collection.
Cast aluminum tables and 8-inch infeed and outfeed extensions increase support for longer workpieces, and the adjustable fence allows bevel jointing from 0 to 45 degrees.
