The Grizzly G0784 is a 15-inch heavy-duty floor drill press built for precise drilling in metal, wood, and plastic. Powered by a 2 HP, 220V motor, it offers 12 spindle speeds from 140 to 2436 RPM and a drilling capacity up to 1-1/8 inch in mild steel, making it a strong fit for demanding shop work.
This machine is designed for accuracy and flexibility, with both coarse and fine downfeed controls, a micrometer collar graduated in 0.01-inch increments, and an R-8 spindle taper for expanded tooling options. The precision-ground cast-iron table rotates 360 degrees, tilts 60 degrees left or right, and provides generous vertical travel for positioning larger or more complex workpieces.
With solid cast-iron construction, a forward/reverse switch, and precision-ground work surfaces on both the table and base, this floor model is well suited for machinists, fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and serious home workshops that need dependable performance and versatile setup capability.
