The Grizzly G0779 is a heavy-duty floor gearhead drill press built for demanding metal drilling applications. With a 23-3/8" swing, 5" spindle travel, and a 2 HP motor, it is designed to handle larger holes and tougher materials than many belt-driven machines.
Its gearhead design offers six quick-change spindle speeds from 90 to 1970 RPM, making it easy to match speed to the job. The machine also features forward and reverse operation, an R-8 spindle taper, and both coarse and fine downfeed controls for improved accuracy and versatility.
