Product Overview
The Grizzly G0768Z is a compact 8" x 16" benchtop metal lathe built for precise turning, threading, and part-making in a small workshop footprint. Its electronic variable-speed spindle control, high and low speed ranges, and digital RPM readout make it easy to dial in the right cutting speed for a wide range of metalworking tasks.
A magnetically mounted X/Z-axis DRO helps you track cross slide and carriage travel for more accurate, repeatable results. The quick-lock tailstock, reverse feed for left-hand threading, thread dial indicator, chip tray, and backsplash guard add convenience and control for detailed machining work.
This lathe is well suited for hobby machinists, home shop users, and light-duty professional work where bench space is limited but precision still matters.
