Product Overview
The Grizzly G0509G is a 16" x 40" metal lathe designed specifically for gunsmithing, precision barrel work, and general metal turning. It features high-precision spindle bearings, a longer tailstock for barrel support, and dual coolant nozzles for chambering. The cast-iron construction, hardened precision-ground bed, and spider mount system are designed for stability and accuracy. Supplied with a two-speed 4 HP/3HP motor, the 16-speed gearhead produces spindle speeds from 45-1800 RPM. Included accessories such as multiple chucks, rests, and a splash guard help make it a well-equipped machine for demanding shop use.
