Dual, centrifugal WhisPower motors separate smoke and grease, resulting in a 94% grease separation rate and 99% odor elimination. Grease is collected on our Capture-Shield plates, preventing it from interfering with ventilation and contributing to odor elimination.
- Patented 3.0 Capture-Shield Plate - Our Capture-Shield Plates fit neatly under the Pixie Air’s dual fans, increasing the fans’ air speed and suction power by creating a Coanda Effect above your cooktop. The Coanda Effect describes the natural tendency of warm air to drift toward and flow along nearby surfaces, depositing airborne particles on those surfaces as it moves. Our Capture-Shield Plates draw the warm air and steam radiating from your stove top into a continuous flow, ensuring ultra-fast ventilation. The plates’ design also includes a no-drip oil cup to capture oil and grease and keep both the Pixie Air and your kitchen cleaner.
