The Cummins C20D6 is a 20kW diesel generator preconfigured with a 24-hour basic fuel tank for dependable standby power. It features a heavy-duty 2.2 liter 4-cycle diesel engine, a 4-pole brushless alternator, and PowerCommand 1.1 electronic controls for integrated system management. The generator is built for operation in demanding conditions, with a cooling system rated for temperatures up to 122°F. It also offers flexible exercise mode scheduling to reduce noise, emissions, and fuel use. A sound level 1 sandstone enclosure helps provide durable weather protection.

- Cooling system - Standard cooling package provides reliable running at up to 122 °F (50 °C) ambient temperature. Coolant heaters also come standard on generator sets for starting well below freezing.
- Enclosures - The aesthetically appealing enclosure incorporates special designs that deliver one of the quietest generators of its kind. Aluminum material plus durable powder coat paint provides the best anti-corrosion performance. The generator set enclosure has been evaluated to withstand 180 mph wind loads in accordance with ASCE 7-10.
