So now we have to take it to a shop to have repaired. This is crap. You shouldn’t sell something unless it’s been tested and you know it works especially when you won’t take a refund and there’s no business. And the only dealer we could find is 35 miles away from where we live again we seriously doubt this generator was ever tested before sending it to a customer. How can you do business like that and we do expect a refund for our repair work or our time and trouble to get the repair work done.

The only issue we have, is the automatic choke doesn’t work properly. We have to manually use the choke.
You said open box not bent up missing the screws for the front and there says in the directions it has bag fittings that are supposed to be there included don’t no what they are because they I just mounted and hooked yesterday it does work I have some questions for you guys before I finish this review because I don’t it working correctly so I will call you on Monday thanks for the delivery but I was expecting open box but it was not all there
Purchased a refurbished Generac.
Condition was “good”, but not what I’ve come to expect from refurbished tools. At a minimum I would have expected a clean tool. Mine had dirt & oil/grease on various parts. About 40 hours which is no big deal. Missing parts (nothing to connect battery) Dirty. This unit had been exposed to the weather. Battery doesn’t take/hold a charge, damaged parts (wheel)
In short, should have just purchased a used unit locally (that’s what you’re getting anyway) or new.

It puts out good heat, the blower is nice, being adjustable. Long fire box accepts longer wood. Now for the bad. The shelf for the ashpan only goes part of the way back, therefore ashes will accumulate under the stove without being able to get. To get the ashes, you have to push through a small square hole that you lift out. You either have to let the fire go out or lose a lot of hot coals. My old stove allowed them to drop through grates into the ash pan, keeping the bigger coals in the firebox. It also would allow the ashes to free fall into the ashpan, on its own, requiring less effort. The old stove also had a sealed ash pan that you could crack open to start a fire. Closing both dampers still allows the fire to burn like a runaway train and will most likely be burned up and out by the morning. I installed a stove pipe damper to close at night so it would slow burn all night.

This is my second kiln as I bought this one for firing 24K gold and for firing enamel on silver. I have used it and love it. The temperatures are very accurate and just so you know, this kiln uses Celsius, not Fahrenheit. So for me, there was some interpolations that I had to do. I am happy with this purchase.
I like the heater a lot, it doesn't take a lot of wood to heat up the house, the heater heats up the house really good. I would recommend anyone who needs a heater to get one.
